Sehari is being built as a private space for close friends. Privacy isn't a policy we bolted on — it's the reason the product exists. This page explains, plainly, what we collect when you join our waitlist and what we do with it.
When you join the waitlist, we collect only:
We use your email for one purpose: to contact you about early access to Sehari. That's it. We will not send you marketing for other products, and we will not use your address for anything unrelated to Sehari's launch.
If you add a friend's email, we will use it only to contact them about early access to Sehari. We will not send them marketing for other products, and we will not use their address for anything unrelated to Sehari's launch.
Waitlist information is stored securely with the service we use to collect signups. Access is limited to the Sehari team. We keep waitlist data only as long as needed to launch and invite you, after which you can ask us to delete it.
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely, at any time. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe. To make any request, write to us at [email protected].
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over your personal data — for example under the EU's GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. We aim to honour those rights for everyone, regardless of location. If you'd like to exercise any of them, just email us.
As Sehari grows from a waitlist into a full product, this policy will expand to cover the app itself. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
Questions about privacy? Write to [email protected] and a real person will answer.
